Hmm, nothing that says "Libertarian position: favorable." Man, that's sad (for CA). Jdavidb 11:34, 12 Jul 2004 (PDT)

I just started this page. Haven't had time to read them myself, so I put undecided. We should try to classify them a bit furthur, and give some idea why libertarians believe in the position. Of course, if libertarian opinion is split, then we should present both sides. In previous years, the LPC Executive Committee has taken positions, but have published no explaination. [edit] LPC Positions

FWIW, I've started an Election 2004 section on the LP Humboldt County web page and just recently added the known statewide ballot propositions. I also went ahead and put a LPC position on the props I felt were no-brainers so about half of the props on my page show an LPC position. Check it out and see if you agree with my "LPC Positions" by going to http://www.fredtyg.freeservers.com/LPHC.html

One that I think we should be taking a Yes position on but I left as pending was the one that has to do with repealing that health insurance mandate for businesses. I understood that would be what the prop would do but reading the description of it on the Secretary of State site, it sounds like it creates a new mandate. Confusing to me but maybe I'm just reading it wrong? Fred from Humboldt County ---

Moved Prop. 72 stuff to Talk:CA's Prop 72

[edit] Results?

How'd these turn out? Probably time to remove them from Campaigns, but still very interesting content. - EqualOpportunityCynic 07:36, 7 Jun 2005 (PDT)
