AFD - Acting For Dead Clients

  1. Criticism: What would motivate a protection agency to investigate a murder since that client would no longer be paying them anymore?
    Assumptions: GLOPAG
    Solutions:
    1. AFDMIN - You could have a form of murder insurance where if you were murdered, the protection agency had to pay a person that you have designated in advance a sum of money. This would be on top of what a normal life insurance policy is. The protection agency would then have an incentive to find the person and get restitution from them.

  2. Criticism: Who would the protection agencies pay if a person died and they had no family or friends?
    Assumptions: AFDMIN, GLOPAG
    Solutions:
    1. AFDCHR - Whoever the client wanted them to in their contract. They could put down a charity or whatever they want.

  3. Criticism: But if everyone was putting down charities like that, the protection agencies would just own a charity and be pushing that one when people sign up. Then the person's own protection agency would kill them.
    Assumptions: AFDCHR, AFDMIN, GLOPAG
    Solutions:
    1. That wouldn't make any sense because the protection agency would be paying itself.

  4. Criticism: But the charities would just kill the person so they could collect the money.
    Assumptions: AFDCHR, AFDMIN, GLOPAG
    Solutions:
    1. Not likely. This would tarnish their reputation. Plus, the protection agency would not pay the charity if the charity killed the person so they would really investigate these matters in case they wouldn't have to pay. The person working for the charity that killed them would likely have charges brought against them as well so it would be hard to find someone to even carry out the killing.
